Ca' Besina

Ca’ Besina is the first Emilia champagne-method wine to be made entirely from the grapes of local variety Spergola and at least four months on the lees.

Bottle fermentation brings the best out of the Spergola white grape variety, which has been used here since the late 1970s, when making a champagne method wine in Emilia seemed unthinkable.
