VINIFICATION
Grape selection and harvest by hand from hilly vineyards with subsequent destemming and pressing followed by controlled temperature fermentation. Ageing for over a year in barrique and then a few months in the bottle.

COLOUR
Pronounced deep ruby red.

AROMAS
pronounced and complex nose with notes of ripe red fruit such as Amarena and Morello cherries and blackcurrant together with spicy, toasted nuances and sweet vanilla.

FLAVOURS
A big, full-bodied and well balanced personality with soft tannins shored up by excellent zestiness. It is capable of great length and elegance on the palate.

Tagliatelle with a wild boar ragout, stuffed duck.
