WINEMAKING
Grapes are picked by hand and then destemmed and pressed, before an immediate first fermentation at a controlled temperature of 20°C and then ageing in steel until bottling.
COLOUR
Pronounced ruby red.
AROMAS
High impact wine in which the dominant aromas are dark red fruit, such as blackberries and cherries, together with mild vegetable and tobacco nuances.
FLAVOUR
A young wine with a big flavour personality, a generous fruity opening and a pronounced long-in-the-mouth finish.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Barbecued meats, pappardelle pasta with a wild boar sauce.
